Arthur Levertov is a professional chess player and friend of Benny and Cleo. He makes his first appearance in the sixth episode of the series, Adjournment, with Wexler and Cleo when the three of them go to visit Benny's apartment in NYC and meet -- for the first time -- Beth. Beth was staying with Benny to prepare herself for the Paris Tournament under his supervision.
